Hannah McGowan is the owner and founder of Hannah Mac Hockey, LLC—a training platform dedicated to helping girls hockey players build strength, confidence, and next-level skills. With a focus on skating and skill development, Hannah creates detailed, personalized training plans tailored to every athlete, from beginners to college-bound players and aspiring pros.

Hannah’s passion for the game has been evident since her own days on the ice. A four-year standout at Adrian College, she captained the Bulldogs during her final two seasons and helped lead the team to its first NCHA Regular Season Championship. After college, she continued her career professionally, skating in the inaugural season of the NWHL with the Buffalo Beauts and later competing internationally with the Neuberg Highlanders of the EWHL in Austria—a chapter of her life filled with travel, growth, and unforgettable experiences.

After hanging up her skates, Hannah returned to Adrian in 2017 to coach the next generation of Bulldogs. She served as an assistant coach, focusing on defense and recruiting, before moving on to the Division I level as an assistant coach at Rochester Institute of Technology, where she led team skill development from 2018–2020. Today, she’s back once again with the Adrian College Women’s NCAA team, bringing her journey full circle as a current coach and mentor.

In 2020, Hannah turned a long-time dream into reality by launching Hannah Mac Hockey. Combining her elite playing background and coaching experience, she now works directly with girls at every stage of their hockey journey—whether they’re just starting out or preparing for collegiate competition. More than a skills coach, Hannah is a mentor, advisor, and advocate who genuinely cares about her players' growth both on and off the ice.
